The tour starts from Edinburgh with a full day dedicated to our beautiful Scottish capital, the Edinburgh Castle and the Holyrood Palace.

Day three: time to explore! Car pick up and departure for St. Andrews, best known as the real home of golf.

Next stop is Aberdeen, the “Granite City” with the most beautiful skyline of Scotland; do not miss the chance to visit the “Old Aberdeen” and the fishing village, a strong contrast between the city’s cosmopolitan environment and a very traditional atmosphere.

Aberdeen is deep in the Royal Deeside valley surrounded by numerous castles like Balmoral Castle, the Scottish Home of the Royal Family from Queen Victoria.

On the way to Inverness we suggest to stop in Pennan, a tiny village in the Aberdeenshire and to visit the extremely popular Cawdor Castle.

After the first few days in Scotland you may be lucky enough to see with your own eyes the most famous among Scottish creatures: Loch Ness! Travelling south you will find yourself deep in the Glen Mor, a valley extending almost 60 miles.

Next stop is Fort William, on the road have a look at the Glenfinnan viaduct, famous thanks to the Harry Potter films. Next stop is a real paradise: Skye, the largest isle in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. We strongly suggest to stop before the bridge and take a picture of Eilean Donan Castle.

Go back to Oban by boat to visit another very traditional town famous for fishing and for its beautiful bay. Visit of the small distillery whose whisky is famous all around the world. For a traditional Scottish night you can visit the Skippish Cellidn to enjoy Scottish music and dance.

Departure to the Isle of Mull, part of the Inner Hebrides extending over an area of 580 square meters with 2400 inhabitants.

On the island there are also many salmon farms. The Scottish salmon is extremely fine and it is smoked and still hand-cut. Next stop is Iona, a sacred island of great religious importance where many Scottish kings are buried, including the famous Macbeth. The main town of the Hebrides is  Tobermory, a very picturesque village with its colorful houses where you can visit of the small distillery, the chocolate factory and the small Mull Museum.

Visit of the Duart Castle dating back to the 12th century, still belonging to Maclean Clan whose emblem is clearly displayed at the entrance.

Departure for Inveraray and visit of the castle and the prison.
The castle is owned by the Campbell Clan. The Duke of Argyll lives there with his wife and 3 young children that you can probably meet.

Departure for Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, an area with plenty of lakes, mountains, forests and heaths. On clear days from here you can easily see the top of Ben Nevis.

We leave the wild Scottish landscapes behind to visit Glasgow, the biggest city in Scotland, a big center of style, architecture and design.
A very friendly place where you can enjoy a great shopping and a very interesting visit.

Last day, back to Edinburgh. Transfer to the airport and car drop off.
